How our service works
LEV Testing Companies is an introduction service. A health and safety lead, works manager or bursar tells us about their extraction; we find an independent examiner who covers their area and tests that kind of system, and tell them who it is. These are the steps.
You describe the extraction
Your postcode, the kind of extraction you have, roughly how many hoods or points, when it was last tested, and the best way to reach you.
We find an examiner
Someone qualified to test your kind of system, who covers your postcode, and who did not install or maintain it.
We tell you their name
Usually within one working day. Your details go to them only after you agree.
They quote you directly
The examiner confirms the hood count and a test date and puts the fee in writing. You decide whether to book, and any agreement is made with the examiner, not with us.
What this site is
A small introductions business. Nobody here tests, services, designs or sells extraction equipment, we employ no examiners, and any company with a name like ours is unconnected with this site.
Things we never do
- Charge you for an introduction, now or later.
- Pass on anything about you without your say-so, or to anyone beyond the single examiner we suggest.
- Tell you whether your extraction is adequate. Only an examiner who has tested it can.
- Give legal advice. What we write about COSHH is general information.
- Add you to a mailing list.
Where our income comes from
Examiners we introduce may pay us a fee when a client books them. Our introductions cost you nothing, booked or not.
Fees and guidance on this site
The fees on this site are typical UK ranges built from what testing firms publish, with the month we checked them shown beside each table. They are there to help you budget and spot an outlier; the examiner’s written quote is the price. What we say about COSHH and HSG258 is general information, not legal advice.
